Homemade Pizza

3 cups flour
1 cup warm water
1 T yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup water
1 tsp. salt
2 T oil
1 tsp. sugar

Mix together and knead until elastic. Divide into two equal parts. Flatten with hand and let rest (raise) while making sauce.

Sauce
Makes sauce for 6 to 8 pizzas

1 Quart tomatoes
1 12 oz can tomato paste
1 T Italian seasoning
Small amount of minced onion
Small amount of brown sugar (opt.)

Put all in blender until smooth.

Let heat and simmer until ready to use. (Let cool before putting on crust.)

Roll out dough-let raise again for a little while- not too long. Place on BOTTOM SHELF of pre-heated oven (550 F). Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, put toppings on, then bake in 425 F oven for 20 minutes.
